Breaking news is that McCain just dropped all his ads and took all his staff out of Michigan...they hoped that with the Dems not stumping there in the primaries that they could steal that one, but the numbers for McSame are atrocious there, so he's sent the money and staff elsewhere.

That's one of the states that McSame almost had to win...now the rest of the swing states are all must wins, and he's polling poorly in most of them...his staff and money went to Ohio and Florida.

Polls have Obama up by 2 points in Ohio, where McCain was ahead earlier in the summer, and Obama up by 8 points in Florida, where McCain was also ahead earlier in the summer...

McCain has to win both of those, and a host of other battleground states...Obama only needs one or two more of them...even if the popular vote is relatively close, the electoral votes are way on Obama's side right now...

I just got a note that he'll be doing the same thing in Wisconsin, perhaps before the weekend...

He can't circle the wagons anymore...he's going to have to make a stand and win every battleground state left...if he drops many more, it will be a mathematical impossibility for him to win enough electoral votes to ever see the White House from the inside...even with help from Diebold

The beauty of McSame pulling out of Michigan and Wisconsin is that Obama can redirect his money and staff in those states to Ohio and Pennsylvania, too...

Like I keep saying, Failin' stumbling and McSame stumbling aside, the electoral votes are strongly in Obama's favor, and getting stronger all the while...even if it's somewhat close in the popular vote, the electoral vote is piling up fast in Obama's favor.

Where are all the RWWJ's on this thread? Still trying to figure out what the electoral college is, or too busy whackin' themselves over the debate tonight?
