Fantasia on mushrooms is very disturbing. Being indoors on mushrooms is disturbing. At least that's what I've read.

American history X.......Dont watch that with the kids. very disturbing.
Fight club. Good fight scenes but never got this movie. Sadly i know the guy who wrote it and never got him either.
Natural born killers.....Again, very disturbing.
Thats the same as my "must see" list.

Here's three most of you probably havent heard of, all on my disturbing and somewhat weird list:
Jacobs Ladder, 1990, starring Tim Robbins. Very Creepy flick
Requiem for a dream, 2000, - plot is Drug use gone crazy, very disturbing, Director nailed telling the story.
The Salton Sea- 2002 Val Kilmer- Wife is murdered and Val drifts into a world of Thugs and Speed freaks. Very Weird and disturbing. Good production on this flick.

A Simple Plan was surely a downer. Just when you think things cannot get worse, they do. Then for sure things can't get worse. Guess what? And so on. The ending as I recall was similar to Of Mice and Men. Good actors too.
Bill Paxton and Billy Bob among others. A definite must see if you like being depressed.

Movie I thought was very messed up. American Me. the better title would be Mexican IN me...for those unfortunate souls that have experienced that horror film....picture being fifteen and watching it with your dad! Talk about uncomfortable.

If any of you are still young enough to do so, try watching "The Wall" in an altered stated. Pink Floyd music to that wacked out crap sent a many down the road to a bad trip. Not right.

Nobody mentioned 2001 Space Odyssey
Requiem is the only movie I've ever seen where I told myself I would never watch it again because it was too disturbing.
