One Way,
I'm a lot more safety conscious these days, altho I do drink beer (one) while using power tools on hot days. I'll add a railing on the deck when I get around to installing the actual deck. There's just a bunch of scrap OSB and plywood laying on the framing temporarily.
Brewer,
I might put up a fence with a mural on it.
Slab,
There is no neighbor on that side. Renters ransacked the mobile home that sits there, and it's no longer fit for occupancy. I think the owner doesn't know what to do with it. If I had more spare time and money I'd like to buy it and build a small retirement home on it. Cut down four fir trees and the lot has a great Mt. Rainier and valley view.
Shoot, if Obama can give mullions away, I'll ask Olympic Mountain Millwork why they can't too.
Andy,
I question that I'll ever be done. I will get my deck far enough along so that I can get the "occupancy" certification tho. But a beer on the deck is good anytime.
Mike,
Thanks, but I didn't choose it. Rochelle chose the door, and the interior paint colors (I probably would have done it all in "off"-white to make it simple), and a lot of other touches that will make it a cool home.
Turned the stack of rough sawn cedar into this stack of planed cedar boards. Next step: edging.
