It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Pretty hard to believe nobody has jumped on this yet. I'm tempted but already have a raft and DB.

Awesome boat at a more than reasonable price!

i don't have any at the moment, but i will take and upload some tomorrow....

i just saw your thread on the main board, if safety is your main concern you won't find a more stable and forgiving boat out there.

I'll even deliver it! Plus, I'll stop at Romulus's place and bring what's left of this mornings bottle of MD 20/20?

This post is the real life legend of the best boat that won't sell.

Somewhere, right this moment, someone is paying way more for way less.

Take KK's offer. That way Justin and I won't have to bring our own space heater when we come out! laugh

And you could give Bob one of the pedals.

I still haven't had time to get more pictures, but I will in the next couple days.....

Would there be more interest if it included a trailer??

KD,

Is this the same brand that you own? If so, these are a sweet ride down the river!

LD,

I'm still waiting on some clearer pic's. Dose this thing have a standing platform or is it a sit-in unit only. I will be back from Iraq in five days so if it is what I have been looking for then I will put this tread to death.

OK I pulled the boat out, pumped it up a bit and got some pictures.

Here's a frontal shot, you can see the mesh floor, rod racks, rod holders, tackle tray, spare oar, front swivel seat and casting brace among other things:

The one below shows how the tackle boxes are held into the tray I built, plus the foot pump, oar rights, new anchor rope, repair kit and special tools...

This one shows the wrap around anchor system a little better, and you can see how it can be pulled by the person up front, but it's also easy to pull and release from the row seat if you take it out by yourself....

And here's a shot showing the other side, so you can see the rest of the tackle tray. It has vertical slots for tackle boxes as well.:

After spending more time with the boat today, and looking up the retail prices on the tubes and frame components, I've decided that it's ridiculous to have to give a free guided trip away to get this thing sold. It's worth at least $2500 in the condition it's in, and to replace it piece by piece new would cost well over $4000, so if no one's willing to pay the $1800 I'm asking I'm just going to keep it. In other words I'm pulling the free trip offer. Snooze/lose, etc.

This doesn't apply to you steelieosus, since you have been out of the country I'll leave that offer open for you only... I'm not sure if you're in the military (if so thank you very much for your service!) but I will gladly take you on a guided trip for 2, or spend a few hours on the water in your new boat showing you what it can do if you decide to buy it.

LD,

Thanks for the pic's. I retired from the army a year ago so now I'm doing contract work over here. I guess I just coulden't get enough of the sand.

You can count your boat sold, I will contact you when I get state side hopefully this weekend.

Steelieosus,

My brother in law is over there right now as a contracter. Does Steven Roberts ring a bell?
