Looking for a set of counter ballances for my wrapped Cataracts. If anybody has a set lying around let me know.
Thanks

Dave, honestly, I'd do what I did with my toon oars and just wrap 2 layers of pencil lead from the base of the handle down about 4 inches. Then cover with duct tape.

If you decide to go "high dollar", I do have a set of cataract balances that I'll sell you for 50% of retail. They are basically just short pieces of pipe with a few plastic screws in them.

Good idea Aaron. I don't think I'll have to have them long. I tore both shoulders back in early December. I've been rowing on that at least weekly and they aren't healing.
I know the solution is give them a few weeks or a month off and let them heal properly but I'm not willing to do that right now. I'll do that in the spring if I have to. Fingers crossed no permanent damage!

Would old style ankle weights with velcro work? I hit the thrift stores once in awhile and see those around the sports stuff.

Dave, forgot to tell you they're 4 lbs each, not adjustable, and only one weight.
