If he could hook up with Sarah we would have dumb and dumber. That might be the only way Obama could get reelected.

I would love to vote for someone for either party, who was a middle of the road, had no special agenda for saving the unsaveable or had a hard-on for religion. Wishing, I know, that both parties could field suitable candidates who have not been groomed since day 1 as a career politician to become president.
Of course, I would "collect" all of the Sarah memorabilia I could get my hands on for the office walls in my shop, should she run.

Actually... Newt is a very smart guy.
He's just chosen to hitch his wagon to the wingnut moron movement... hopin' they'll be his ticket to the White House.
He's got too much baggage to have any serious chance at winning... where he'll need the support of Independents.

Wasn't Newt the leader of the contract with America back in 1994? That contract ended up having a lot of loopholes. I was especially impressed by his suggestion that children of poor families should be put in an orphanage.
It's only been two years since Republicans lost control. Does anyone remember why that happened? They had eight years to do what they say they want to do now.

Remember how hard you Democrats prayed for Renoldo Maugnus to be the GOP Nominee? A Newt /Sarah may very well end up the same way.

He's got too much baggage to have any serious chance at winning... where he'll need the support of Independents. Obama is a smart guy too and I believe his baggage is starting to stack up a bit. He hasn't looked in the rearview mirror yet to notice he lost his wagon.

Very refreshing to see someone of intelligence with an opposing view point admit something like that. The thing that irritates me the absolute most here on the dark side is the way over the top partisanship bulllshit that only echoes the stupid tired worn out talking points of their own beliefs. Like kids arguing with their fingers stuck in their ears while screaming at the top of their lungs. Good on you Salty. Some very smart, good folks out there even if they see things differently than I do.

If a year an half from now the D's have lost the house or senate or god forbid in the lib world both........... BO poll numbers are below 40 my guess is Hillary would run in the primaries. If she really wanted to shake up the political mold break free of D's and run as a independent. Never happen.....my thoughts but times are changing. 50% of the voters ARE NOT D or R crappers but vote the person. This tax and entitlement thing is going to come unglued and you know what, out of all the politicos out there she is the only one D or R ( including BO ) that is tuff enough to take things on straight up. Nothing meaner than a smart women, past meno, with a cheating husband, with a ax to grind! Lord would it be a show. By the way manly men, on all sides of the things it is women that are emerging as the leaders with ideas and concepts. As a man I say beating my chest.................bring em on as the male side the species is not exactly doing a bang up job. Maybe some ass kicking tough broads are what we need!!! Your time is near AM!

I still think Hillary is more qualified to handle our current problems than any other politician.
I'm curious AM. What do think Hilary would have done or would do different than BO if residing in the Oval Office?

She will be too busy evading "sniper fire", like she did in Yugoslavia.

I said all along that Hillary was a better choice and that if she were the nominee, I would have to vote for her and not McCain. Her party abandoned her BECAUSE she is tough and knows too much. She wouldn't let a bunch of men be her handlers and she paid the price for that choice.
I still think Hillary is more qualified to handle our current problems than any other politician.
Nice spin on the simple fact that Hillary was unelectable for many obvious reasons, starting with her non-existant personality. The gap between Barack and McCain really wasnt that big, and Obama was a rock star candidate, Dems made the right choice.

That is what I said 2 years into Mr. Carters term as I voted for him. Mr. B is on the same road just one more disaster away. Do better I guess if he duct taped Joe's mouth and got an attorney general that understood the constitution. Would not hurt if he kicked the crap out of the Harry & Nancy either.
His own party is his worse enemy.
