Fishkisser: Noted your homeport is Eastsound, I love that area..... I remember hitting Spencer before Memorial Day. I fished in the morning and picked up a number of very nice fish. Conked and kept a few and they were full of ants from the night before. I agree - it should be soon.

Ants were flying all over on Buffalo Lake on the Colville Rez. a few days ago, but the stormy weather yesterday seem to have turned them off. Hope that's not the end of it.

Western Wash. probably a Week or so behind Eastern. It seems to take several really warm days in a row to bring them out.

Yes, I have seen ants all over on some logs in Lake Langlois over the weekend. I did not see any flying however.

The first day that hits the mid 70s F every year is the day I spray. That's when Carpenter Ants make their first huge flying assault on my house. Happens every year. It's a little late this year or I missed it. I hate them ants.
