Man, I havent said much lately, and I get bashed. Mr Basser, I think the proper way to test it is to use a volt meter,or stick 1 of the wires in your _ _ tt and the other in your ear. If your eyes light up it works. if they dont it's broke. Seriously, check to see if there is a internal fuse in it!
How be the bass fishing lately? I havent been fishing for awhile. To busy with work and stuff.

It is a common expression for something that has died. (facing upwards as if being on their death bed) It doesn't offend me, and no sexual referrence was made, nor inferred.

What offends me is when the PC police try to change everything so that nobody ever gets offended. If you don't like it, then don't read it. You have the power of choice. Society in general is so quick these days to judge everything and people take everything so seriously. Don't sweat the little stuff.

I am sorry that you take offense, really, at common saying. Please lighten up a little bit. If you really do have a problem with the post, send an e-mail to the person who originally posted the subject, or even one of the moderators. They haven't edited the post or it's title so they must not be offended.

It's still rather crude. How many women do you see going around saying it? Not many, I'll wager. It might be a common statement, but the word 'b*tch' is common too, and that doesn't make it proper. The point about not reading it doesn't sit well either, since how could I not read it? It was right in the subject line. I'm not overly PC, but I think people should think about what they say/type before they do it and consider how others will take it. There are other phrases that work just as well for the purpose.

My contribution to this thread is over.

If women were the only one with tits I would be more willing to listen.

I was going to respond to all this but I might take a lashing ....as for the batery charger ycan use a volt meter as was sugested above just make sure you have it hooked to a battery that needs charging as most chargers are affcted by the condition the battery is in!!

I laugh at PC but have to agree that it is rather crude. Another expression could have gotten the job done.

But I don't think the expression was there to offend anyone in particular. We all come from a wide range of backrounds and ages, and expressions that mean nothing special to one person can offend another. The more important thing I noticed is that for the most part each person expressed their views without getting into personal attacks.
