Is McLeod lake on Weyerhauser property and if so do they require a permit to fish it? If so, how much and where can i purchase one? :

You don't need the permit for McLeod. You can get the permit, if it's available yet, at the True Value store in Snoqualmie. The store is about one block north of the main drag. Stop by Snoqualmie Falls Brewing for a sample......

Not all, but most. Nothing like a nice, cold draft after a long day. Only one though, don't want to be a problem for anyone - including myself. The Fish Bowl in Olympia is a nice spot too, after a day on the Deschutes.....

I know that you are not a problem. Just a fun loving guy.
Well I'm going to try out my new pontoon boat this morning. Going to Gissburg Ponds and see if any of those flies that I tied are going to work. After all I didn't spend all of my money on new stuff just to let it sit like I usually do. Jim S smile

Well I went like I said. Somebody should have been taking pictures. I got all set up and got on the water. Thats when all the fun started. I have a seat cushion to sit on but that didn't work and I didn't know where to put my fly rod so I put it between my legs. I started to row out but just then I dropped my rod. Not caring how deep the water was because I wasn't going to loose a new rod I came of the boat like I was shot. I was lucky that the water was only above my waist. I had my chest waders on but not all the way, just far enough so I didn't get wet. I picked up my rod and then went fishing.

The fishing sucked. Nobody was doing any good. I had one hit on a phanthom pupa. Tried trolling a woolybugger and a leech but no luck. I have a anchor and next time I go it's going with me. Jim S. laugh

Nice report Old Man. Remember to tie the anchor line on before pitching it over the side..... Glad you got the rod back.
