No chit! possibly the worst game ever.

I still enjoyed the game...if you want scoring the NBA is the place for you. Every inbound pass, shot, rebound, kickout, and entry to the post was contested by both teams. Yeah, Butler missed alot of bunnies (about 40 of them by my count), but the defense played by both teams was something I've never seen before. Excellent game plans and coaching by both coaches...two of the finest in all of college hoops.

I'll give Flea a pat on the back here. Only guy I remember going on record picking UConn. Although you had four Big East teams in the Final Four, at least you picked the tourney winner!

My least favorite part of the tournament is the "One Shining Moment" finale...seriously, I detest it.

I don't care if they score a lot of points...but missing that many easy shots looked sloppy, and that was the part I did not enjoy.

They shot 18 percent? I couldn't even hang around to see the final shooting percentages....just plain god-awful.

The Orange? They'll be really good next year...probably the best in the Little East. But I thought you'd be more of a BC, UMass, Harvard, Northeastern, or BU guy? Perhaps Wellesley?

Barf! I'll tell ya what Calipari can kiss...I know it's tradition and all, but they really need to change that song for the finale. I've hated it since the first time I heard it. [censored], I'd be happy with a Taylor Swift song over that POS tune.


Well I guess you proved my point. NBA players don't expend any energy on defense until the playoffs...they basically just waltz through the regular season. They then play mediocre defense in the first round, some semblance of decent defense in the second round, and then get down to actually playing defense in the Finals. In game 7, they play defense like they are capable of playing the whole year, but are just too lazy to do so.

The last time I remember seeing good, consistent defense in the NBA was the Bad Boy Pistons (Dumars, Zeke, Laimbeer) when they were trying to beat the Jordans (Bulls), or perhaps the Pacers (Miller and Smits era), when they were trying to do the same. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Gotta hand it to em, they turned it on when they needed to this year. Won the Maui Invi, won the big east tourney and won the big dance....

They probably aren't the best team nor a top 5 team in the nation, but all it comes down to is playing well at the right time...
