You're paying money to go see that wack job? Why? I'd rather go to a comedy club and watch a real comedian any day. Violent Torpedo of Truth? The truth is that he's a poster child for alcoholism, drug addiction, and chronic domestic violence...not to mention an effn idiot.

Get a grip dude! Charlie doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit him. He's donating one dollar from each ticket to tsunami/earthquake victims, not all the money from the tour. Which is still admirable I guess....

My wife and I really considered going but with me being laid off right now I couldn't justify the $45+ per ticket. Update this after the show and let us know how it was.

Just how is dumbfuk Chuck "sticking it to the establishment"? By getting so strung out on drugs and alcohol that he is unable to show up for work? For publicly calling his boss a "clown" and getting fired?
His merits? Based on what I've gleaned from your posts Prince he's probably your hero. Porn stars, hookers, drugs, try to kill your wife or girlfriend, rehab, sobriety....and repeat. Here is a small sampling of his merits:
1990 After a year of engagement, Sheen "accidentally" shot actress Kelly Preston with a .22 inside their Malibu home. She sustained injuries to her wrist and ankle and immediately ended the relationship after the incident.
1994 Just two months after marrying model Donna Peele, Sheen was sued by an unnamed UCLA student who alleged he had struck her in the head when she refused to have sex. The case was settled out of court. Sheen divorced Peele later that year, blaming the demise of their relationship on her, saying, "You buy a bad car, it breaks down."
1996 Sheen was arrested for beating girlfriend Brittany Ashland, an adult film star. Ashland claimed he knocked her out and threatened to kill her. She received seven stitches in her lip. At the time of his arrest, one of his friends spoke to the media saying the scuffle was Ashland's fault. In June 1997, Sheen pleaded no contest to battery charges and got two years' probation and a $2800 fine.
2006 After a relatively long streak of sobriety following a 1998 rehab stint, Sheen's then-wife Denise Richards filed for divorce making allegations in court documents about his transgressions (including child porn, obsessive gambling, drug use, and prostitutes), and his abusive behavior (throwing chairs at her and threatening numerous times to kill her).
2009 Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day on charges of felony second-degree assault, felony menacing and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief after allegedly strangling, holding a knife to the throat of, and threatening to kill then-wife Brooke Mueller. In August 2010 he pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic violence in the case.
2010 Sheen was taken to a hospital in NYC after trashing his Plaza Hotel room in a reported fit of rage. Adult film star Capri Anderson—Sheen's paid companion—claimed that the actor put his hands around her neck and threatened to kill her. She locked herself in the bathroom to hide from him. Sheen referred to her allegations as a result of her own "emotional stupidity."
2011 Just this week, ex-wife Brooke Mueller has filed a temporary restraining order against Sheen alleging several "specific, descriptive threats." Sheen's response is that he is considering getting a restraining order of his own against Mueller.
And Luke, I'm not bashing you here at all...you can spend your entertainment dollars any way you choose. I'm just unsure of what Charlie has to offer on stage. He has never done stand-up comedy in his life. All of his roles and jokes have always been written for him....he's as far away from a stand-up comedian as he is from a stand-up guy.
It's funny he was fired from a show about a Malibu living, womanizing self centered drunk on allegations he was a womanizing self centered drunk who lived in Malibu.

I agree. IMO his only good movie was his first movie, Platoon. I guess maybe Wall Street could be considered decent. Not a big fan of sitcoms either...especially his.
SBD...you don't repeatedly get convicted or plead Nolo Contendere for mere allegations. And yes, Denise Richards was a hottie...until he got done with her.
Some of you sound dangerously close to condoning his behavior. Would it be different if a friend or neighbor treated his wife or girlfriend like Charlie treats his? Guns? Knives? What if he ends up actually killing one? Would that change your tune?
The main point I was trying to make it that stand-up acts are rehearsed, polished acts that take many, many years to develop. I would expect his "comedy" to be something of this variety: "So there I was, coked outta my mind, banging Ginger Lynn, and two of her friends show up..."
"Some of you sound dangerously close to condoning his behavior."
How popular that show is condones his behavior, people are tuning in by the millions to watch it, and at this point any woman who considers Charlie Harper/Sheen marriage-dating material is either in it for the publicity or money or both.
Luke. I hope you enjoy the show, and it is worth the money.
Sheen is the type of person my partner calls "A walking-talking disaster." I have a few friends who are walking talking disasters, but without the violence (some alleged maybe). They are not someone that you want your kids to emulate but from an entertainment perspective, they are pretty fun to hang around (in small doses).
Every time I hear from one of these guys I just shake my head and think "How can someone continually make the wrong decision, over and over, and still be alive?" I think the Sheen show might be interesting if he lifts the veil a little bit, and you can get a picture of how his view of reality is so skewed. If he just stand up there rants, raves and doesn't show his personal weakness, it would be boring.
I'm not surprised that his shows are selling out. This is America motherf&cker #1 exporters of disaster and pain worldwide. This is what we do!

Hahahahahaaaa, can't wait for this show!! Its gonna be epic, can't wait to be just like him when I get home after words, I don't agree with domestic abuse, but I can't hate somebody who has the balls to get on stage and tell his/her story to the world. Everybodys [censored] stinks, just some don't have the ablility to hide skeletons, so go on and hate while I laugh it up and have a beer watchin a dood tell his story of distruction.
I'd be a shame if he stroked out before the show, would you get your money back?

Popeater.com? It just rolls across my monitor like a stock market ticker tape. Actually, I posted the link to this breaking news so you could consider your buy-hold-sell options, and make any necessary adjustments to your 20 year financial plan.
If he kept his crack smokin under wraps a little better and just came off like a psycho people might like him more. Letting everyone know how much dope he uses just makes him another crackhead.

Charlie Sheen and his "goddesses" took the stage to thunderous applause Saturday night for the first leg of his "Torpedo of Truth" tour. The 70-minute show hadn't even ended when the first reviews were in, and they were brutal.
The former "Two and a Half Men" star showed that comedic success on the screen doesn't necessarily translate to the stage, and the capacity crowd at the 5,100-seat Fox Theatre rebelled before he left the stage, chanting "refund!" and walking out in droves.
Linda Fugate, 47, of the Detroit suburb of Lincoln Park, walked outside and up the block yelling, "I want my money back!"
She said she paid $150 for two seats.
"I was hoping for something. I didn't think it would be this bad."
Fans who gathered outside the theater before the doors opened Saturday _ some who had to fly in for the show _ said they were hoping to see the increasingly eccentric actor deliver some of the colorful rants that have made him an Internet star since his ugly falling out with CBS and the producers of "Two and a Half Men."
They got the ranting. It just wasn't funny.
"I expected him to at least entertain a little bit. It was just a bunch of ranting," said Rodney Gagnon, 34, of Windsor, Ontario.
LMAO!
