just heard on the radio that a new VH CD should be out this summer, with diamond dave back in as their frontman. curious to see how this will sound. then tour with the scorpions this summer sometime.

has anyone read the new rolling stone interview with sammy hagar? talking about his entire career with VH. SH has a book due out shortly expaining the ride known as vanhagar. well he trully tells a bizarre story(s) about eddie. especially the creepy character eddie has become. now i don't recall any sammy/vh reunion tour at all. the strange stories he shares are strange in the very least. like eddie not being able to correctly play eruption.

Saw V Hagar in concert twice.

Enthusiasm was great. Sound/accoustics of the venu and show flat out SUCKED for both shows.

Of all the concerts I've been too, the VH one's were by far the worse.

Anyway--Eddie...Last time I saw The Reverend Horton Heat, he ripped into EVH for five minutes calling him an untalented hack, then he brought George Thorogood onstage as a surprise guest and the both of them slammed EVH and both said outright that he not only sucked at guitar but that he was a complete moron. Then they did a jam session that rocked the house.

What made the band Van Halen great was the chemistry. When Dave got fired that chemistry was no longer there.
