Hit the water at 6 am saturday and motored over to west point from alki launch. Picked up three shakers just south of west point. We crossed over the point and got our first silver about 8:30 am. Made another loop staying north of the point and had a double header at about 9:30. Man that was fun getting to net two nice silvers with out having time to remove the first one. On our next loop thru we picked up our last silver of the day. After the last one they seemed to disapeer of the finder hardly any showing at all. We decided to head back and kept trolling when we got back south of the point we were marking a lot of fish. I'am guessing they moved with the tide change. We had our luck trolling about 2 miles an hour. Downriggers down 50 feet early then moved to 70 feet as the sun came up. Two of the fish hit herring on a kripled herring rig 30 inches behind a hot spot flasher. The other two hit green glow hootchies behind hot spot flashers. Set the black box at .650 and we were set. Perfect day wind was just about zilch sun was out and ice chest full of fish. All four of us with a nice 6-7 pound silver in the ice chest.

Congrats Troller!

My Dad and I went out on Lk. WA on Sat 9/28/02 looking for silvers. There were about 3,300 that made it into the lake but not biting. Seen a few milling on top of the water, jumping, etc. Fish finder occasionally lit up with a huge fish (might be a few straggler Kings). Dad caught a 2.5-3.0# Cut Throat, nice coloring and I nailed a small rainbow/cutthroat (hard to tell, when it saw the boat it decided to release itself). We hit all our fish on coho setup - ODD!
