I can see why power bait would count as part of your limit... But do worms count as bait for that matter? Or is this a technical question I should ask WDFW about?

anything that attracts fish with scent or flavor, so yarn with shrimp oil is considered bait

Actually, a funny story about being at the deep lake dock (over time, I've compiled hundreds of them).

A little boy came fishing for the SECOND time, and after baiting his big ol' eagle claw hook, he declares, "This hook is going to catch me fish! You wanna know why? Cause I'm a masterbaiter!"

Well, poor grandma was in her little fishing corner, and her cheeks immmediately went rosy red as she started laughing histerically... along with the rest of us.

he didn't understand the joke i guess.

By the way Troutmaster, I am TRYING to get into flyfishing, but cant afford sinking line. Trust me, if I had the cash, I would be doing flies only. I would probably just give my bait gear to a friend in need. But hey, its either give up fishing untill cash is saved for flyfishing, or keep seeing the pretty fishies. I'll keep with the fish.

I purchased a sinking fly-line from Fred Meyer for around $10 last year. It wasn't fancy, but it got the job done.

thanks though
