Full Sail Amber Ale was my first love in craft beers.
Currently I'm on an IPA kick and it's going to be Ipswich IPA tonight as I'm in the land of Minutemen, baked beans and titles.

When I'm home it's been Rotator X-114.
Big, serious, friggin' ale right there.

A warm summer day calls for either PBR or most anythin by Widmer. Depending on the mood.

Maybe you should try a Manhattan.

Drifter's a purty good sunny day beer.

Up in Canuckland IPA has an entirely different meaning than it does in the PNW.

I plowed through about $500 worth of Keith's (about two cases at Canadian prices) and the entire concentrated hop content wouldn't even match a single bottle of PNW IPA.

Beer's gotten expensive in B.C. I hear. A friend says they smuggle beer up there and stash it before heading up on an extended fishing trip. The amount of beer savings practically pays for the trip, but then it would be a cost savings if they stayed in WA and fished. Anyway, you get the idea, Canuck beer is expensive.

$40 for a 12 pack is about right. After the first few nights we switched to liquor just for economics. Not that it helped much. I ran into some friends up there and I asked if Old Style was any good because it was comparatively cheap. He laughed at me. Between paying $1.15-$1.30/L for gas and roughly $4/L for beer, though, Canada got spendy fast.
He did turn me onto Kokanee though. Even took a tour of the brewery. Pretty smooth and crisp, and it might replace Coors Light as my hot weather/boat beer, Especially since they're selling it at Costco for $17/case.

Oh--If anyone ever get a chance to have a Beavertail, do it!

I have three rotating beers on tap.

Usually, it's something dark, an IPA, and either a beer good for session drinking, or someone's excellent homebrew.

Currently is:

Elysian Dragonstooth Stout
single-hop homebrew IPA
Freemont's Universale Pale Ale, dry hopped.

After that bragfest you had better hide the women and children because the boys are comin' over tomorrow night to sample the current rotation.
