It was brought up on the Northwest Fishing Board that American Lake should have some smallmouth bass in it. I was wondering if anyone has fished it or has more information about it. Thanks for any information!

It does. I've caught them in the smaller lake to the South??? of the main lake. Did well cruising along the shoreline and casting to any cover I could find using a frog colored hotshot. I'm sure other lures would work well too.

Thanks Little Fish. I might give it a try this weekend. Now if I don't catch any I can't blame it on the lake not having any smallmouth in it.

Yes they are there. I seen a monster smallmouth spawning last year.
