I have just started using marshmellows instead of power bait when fisihing for trout. My question is, do you use plain white ones or flavored?

I thought that Marshmellows were for eating. But what do I know.

when i have used mashmellows it was just to hold my bait up off of the bottom and i used worms or eggs as the main bait. i used white ones as atrackor (spelling) for my other bait.

That pink shrimp flavored stuff always worked best for me.

Always have at least a LITTLE bit of worm on there though... That meaty scent cant be beat.

The white anise ones worked for me, with pautzki green label eggs.

Use the white marshmallows. Save some for putting in the hot chocolate in the mornings.

Buy the multi-color package of mini's from the grocery store. Try the light green ones with eggs. Great combo.
