Has anyone been able to get a Weyerhaeuser pass to go fish this lake? Every time I go up the gate is closed. It's like trying to get to the lake

The only way to get in there is to buy a pass and then they give you a key???. Those gates stay locked. That is the only way to get in there. Cost as of last year $165.00.

I heard the lake has changed a lot from past years when Dept. F&G used to plant cutts. Heard lately that the lake has gone over to nearly all native brook trout. Can anyone confirm this??
Hardly worth $165 to go fish for skinny little brookies.
