On July 2nd, some friends and I are taking a day trip to Kayak Point on Puget Sound (near the Tulalip Indian Reservation) for Rock Fish, Sea Perch and whatever else we can catch. We're also dropping crab pots.

Has anyone fished this area and have advice on where and what to successfully fish for? Baits and tactics would be very appreciated.

Regards.

Fished it way back when with small waited canadian wonders for sea run cutts. cast along the shore in 2' to 10' of water on the incoming tide. Check the regs first. It's been along time and they have cracked down on SRC regs. Don't know crab regs for that area but fresh cheep chicken in the cheep black crab pots in 15 to 55 feet of water with a sandy bottom should produce.

If you go when there is a good minus tide you can wade for crabs. Bring your shorts!
