If those Mayans "predicted" the end of the world several hundred/thousands of years ago with no modern technology or knowledge, good for them....If we can't figure that out with our aerospace equipment and computers and such, we may deserve to die....

Just tried to convince my wife that I could buy a new boat right now, and only make payments for a year. After that, it didn't matter.....She wasn't bitin'.....<sigh>
