larryb The Rainman Registered: 03/05/01 Posts: 2314 Loc: elma washington	monday i was having trouble seeing and need to talk to eyefish about it. having lost his office number i post a pm on this board which he soon answered by calling me. his office is closed this week by]ut after telling what was going on he had me come into his office. after looking at my eye he made arrangement for me to have surgery in tacoma this morning for a detached retina which went great. thanks eyefish and this board , without which i would not have contacted him. thanks again _________________________ don't push the river it flows by itself Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. Excitable Bob Returning Adult Registered: 03/13/07 Posts: 401 Loc: fuctifino	Happy to hear you were taken care of quickly. I have had several retinal detachments and bleeds in both eyes, so I know how scarey it is when the vision goes south. Not pleasant but the hardest part for me was the 2 weeks of having to hold my head in the proper position so the retina did not re-detach. All the surgeries lead to early cataracts which have now been corrected. Did Eye-Fish do the surgery or another retinal specialist. Hope you have no more problems. Just be sure and follow all the aftercare instructions. No jackhammer or kick boxing, LOL. I was semi-consious when they worked inside my eyes, what a trip! I was very lucky and my vision is now most excellent but with a small area of complete loss in the right eye. I have to have a very compete exam by the Retina Doc every year now. _________________________ She sits on the dock a fishin' in the water uh, huh I don't know her name she's the fisherman's daughter uh, huh Come on down to my boat baby Come on down where we can play Come on down to my boat baby Come on down we'll sail away.
