Taking the family over for some trout fishing for a long weekend, June 29-July 3.Anyone been over this year??....C/22

I fished Spectacle, which is very near, on Jume 3-7. I was hot fishiong, but the size was small. most were 10-12 inches.

Just a bit further you will find Palmer It has some realy nice kokanee,stop in at the store in Loomis Wa. and ask for directions get some maggots and a double wammy. we could not keep them off, a great time. they eat real well also but gut em right away and get them on ice. let us know how you do either way. Oh I was using a fullsink three weight. but a spinning rod will work just fine. Glenn

Glen: I'm headed to Plamer tomorrw. What part of the lake did you find them in and what size were they?

Dave, sorry been working on the house till ten pm so this may be to late. We fished from the first launch parrale to the road never more than fifty feet from shore mostly more like thirty. for about 300 yards or wher the lake starts to turn away from the road. If it fishes well you should have a great time. Glenn

I was in my canoe which was good but would have been better from the livingston with the electronics and a downrigger, I did not even have my electric which makes the canoe easyer especialy if the wind comes up. Glenn
