For sale a 1998 Yamaha 9.9 high thrust extra long shaft kicker electric start. This is a spare motor that I have had sitting around my garage for the last few years. The tiller handle has been replaced a couple of times but the current one is in like new condition. The lower unit was replaced due to loosing the seal and getting salt water in it. Current lower unit came from a donor motor so color doesn't match and looks a little rough. Prop is a little rough but still functional.

The bracket that allows the motor to tilt up is frozen so that the motor doesn't lock down and is really hard to tilt up. Someone that is more mechanically inclined could probably get it working again or buy the part needed to repair for not much.

The motor has also not be ran for a couple years. Last time it ran was when a buddies kicker crapped out a couple days before a trip to Nootka Sound so he borrowed this kicker for his trip. He just changed the oil and said it fired right up.

This would be a cheap way for someone that is mechanically inclined to get a decent kicker at a low price and a little work. I don't need it anymore because I bought a second boat and a new 9.9 Yamaha so have a spare if ever needed.
