So far...
Romney: I applaud the President for doing A, B, and C, but I would have done D, too.
Obama: We did D, too.
Romney: Oh.
Obama: Also, remember last year when you said you would never do A, B, or C, because they were terrible ideas?
Romney: Huh?
That's how every topic has gone so far. It's about time that Romney gets called to the floor for changing his mind on every single issue over the past several years. Long past about fuckin time, really.

That was a bigger ass whoopin' than the last one, only because Romney professed to support virtually everything the President has already done, and was also shown to have changed his mind on those things in the recent past.
Romney didn't look bad or anything, but he didn't draw any distinctions between the two of them, or why he'd be better at it than Obama has been. Like I said above, he mainly agreed with the President, said "you should have done this" when the President already did, and was shown to be a pretty fantastical flip flopper.

Romney: "Syria is Iran's route to the sea"
Uhhh...Syria and Iran don't even share a border...and Iran has a pretty significant coastline of its own. Iran would have to go through Iraq or Turkey to get to the Mediterranean Sea, if that's what he meant, and those would be infinitely less likely than getting through Syria would be.
The American auto industry is vital to our national interest as an employer and as a hub for manufacturing. A managed bankruptcy may be the only path to the fundamental restructuring the industry needs. It would permit the companies to shed excess labor, pension and real estate costs. The federal government should provide guarantees for post-bankruptcy financing and assure car buyers that their warranties are not at risk.
So who said this?

Romney is a good student. He wont lie about a video after calling it a terror attack, that Candy Crowley walked back, after the debate. If it was a terror attack, why lie about for a couple weeks blaming the video. Obama spent 70 grand in Pakistan apologizing for the video on TV in Pakistan. That buys a lot of ad time.
He failed completely in Libya and covered up a failed policy. They pulled people out, after the compound was attacked in April and June. Then pulled the 15 man defense force, straight from the head guy who testified in front of congress.
FnF, that effort is pisspoor, even compared to Romney's pisspoor effort tonight.
Fish on...

Not my problem if you cannot argue the points made. Your critque is not a valid response. Candy Crowley got the rose garden transcripts at the request of the campaign, after she took Obama campaign guy David...... to task for the tape aftermath. They used her, cause she only glanced at the transcripts and she later walked it back. Its on youtube. She screwed up and they took advantage of her.

Obama took Romney to school on the difference between a 1917 navy and a 2012 navy - had to explain it to him in child like terms.
Moderate Mitt and now peace loving Mitt showed up tonight. He lost the debate, but he looked good and didn't hurt himself. Romney has the momentum going into this last two weeks and although Obama won, I think the momentum will remain on Romney's side.
Will the momentum be enough to pull him to the top in the states that matter? We will find out in two weeks.
For those of you who have settled on Romney, which of the many faces of Romney do you think will show up to govern this country, if he wins?

liberals are condenscending to everyone. Even you. It wasnt a serious answer, it was for his base. Trouble is, they are suppose to be the adults in the room. They have to deal with foreign leaders and Obama problaby treats them the same way. Under Obama, he wants our military and our standing in the world to be diminished. It will put everyone at risk. Jimmy Carter did the same thing. Carter was a disaster in Foreign policy. I realize, it easy to talk about the various positions Romney has held, during his MA tenure compared to now. I only care about one thing. What he says today, is what he does during his term. Thats all. A lot of people switch parites including Reagan. It doesn't seem to be held against them, by the party they switch to. Romney was a governor with 87% democrats. He was not in texas. You want to run for office and win, you better be intouch with voters. That why a conservative, like Santorum will never get elected in Wa. Why bother to run...
