Just curious if any of you have visited with your children or yourselves and opinion of either.

Thanks

Olympic game farm many times ...... bring your own bread loaves....they always loved it. We run the grandkids out there once in while now.

Have never done NW Trek, however, so can't say.

been to both, live near NW Trek... NWT is more expensive (by a few bucks), but they have some cool animals, i was actually thinking of going again to mess with that camera i got... Olympic is a pretty cool place as well, unlike NWT, they have Lions and Tigers... you can bring bread too to feed the animals as stated, but as of a little while ago, only Wheat bread is allowed, they will take any other bread you have with you before entering...

it all depends on how much you want to spend... NWT is more expensive, but its not cheap to drive to Sequim either.. both are really cool places, and have cool exhibits..

NWT.

We took the kids there a few years back. They were maybe 8 and 5. We bought the family pass, which at that time allowed you to also visit Point Defiance also. Cost was just a few bucks more.

As we headed to look at the grizzly bears, one dad was walking away saying, "well that was certainly more than I was expecting." As we approached the viewing stand, Daddy bear was giving Momma bear a push from behind, repeatedly. Hunter thought they were wrestling, Ryan thought Momma bear was stuck. We just laughed.

Lots of trinkets for the kids, lots of animals to see. Mid spring is awesome as you get to see all of the young animals. It's pretty cool.

NW Trek was fun. Went w the ex. I was there around the rut so a lot of the big bulls were either penned up or had their antlers cut off to keep them from killin each other so that took away from it some.

Never been to the other place.

Took the kids to NW Trek last year on the ziplines. Pretty cool day. Lost my SD card on my video glasses so didn't get much film from the tree canopy. Noticed after we stopped for lunch. Recalled where I put it in and found it on the ground. Animals were pretty cool on the train. Have never done the Sequim game farm.

NW Trek is set up to see PNW animals in a somewhat natural setting...the Sequim game farm is cool, too, but is more like a petting zoo that you see from the seat of your car.

If I could only do one I'd do NW Trek every time...but the Game Farm is fun, too, in a completely artificial way...do both when you have the chance.

Fish on...

Todd
