Hey guys, need some vital info. The last week or so the Queets has been running 11000 cubic/ft/sec to 30000 cubic/ft/sec. I have fished this river maybe a couple dozen times and have found this river to be in fishable shape when the Queets itself is running at 9000cubic/ft/sec. Has anyone had good success fishing this river when the queets is above 9000, and what is the max limit on the queets for the salmon to be in fishable shape. hope this isn't too confusing. thanks

I was on the Salmon river on Friday. Flows were up but it was fishable (3-4 feet vis, tea colored). Saw 13 fishermen from the lower canyon to above the hatchery. only 4 fish hooked, 2 landed. Anyway, compare fridays flows on the Queets to conditions on the Salmon (about 10:00am)
