New to the Yakima area. Looking for drift boat launches between Selah & the Tri-cities. The Gazetteer is worthless when it comes to the subject. Any help would be appreciated. Ric

Thanks for your help guys. No Lazy Drifter I left Rodland in May & took the summer & most the fall off. My Fiance' got into Dental Hygiene school here in Yakima. I'm now the Service manager at Pingrey motor co. (Ford). How did you know I was at Rodland? Thanks again. Ric

Ric,
I had your business card from getting my Toyota serviced at Rodland and remembered talking fish with you.
Good Luck in Yakima. Sorry to hear you had to go back to work. It always gets in the way of fishing!

Lazy Drifter, Do you fly fish? If so & you ever get to Yakima let me know. I have a new Koffler & never need a reason to get on the water. Look me up. Ric

Hey Ric,
This is Lazy Drifter. Or I should say, I was Lazy Drifter, until I messed around with my profile and had to re-register.(it won't let me register as Lazy Drifter it says that name is taken).
Anyway, I do flyfish. Thanks for the offer to fish the Yak. I've only fished it a couple times in the Cle Elum area. A friend of mine has a cabin there.Never had great success. Would love to fish it with someone who knew the river.
Most of my fishing is for steelhead. I live just minutes from the Stilly and Sauk.I also have a drift boat.Maybe we could trade trips sometime? I took the big step into fatherhood about 6 months ago and my fishing time has been reduced.I still manage to sneak out, wet a line and have a nip behind the woodpile

So in other words "you went from a spawning adult to a newbe smolt" with a click of the mouse. Same thing happened to me last year. Blame it on Y2K. I don't know the river as well as some but the canyon has produced some nice nates for me (a couple over 20 inches). Keep in touch Hillbilly. Let me know if you change your log on again. Julies family is still in Marysville so I do get back every once in awhile. Take care & congrat's on the new baby. Ric
