"Harmful automatic budget cuts — known as the sequester — threaten hundreds of thousands of jobs, and cut vital services for children, seniors, people with mental illness and our men and women in uniform. These cuts will make it harder to grow our economy and create jobs by affecting our ability to invest in important priorities like education, research and innovation, public safety, and military readiness." http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/sequesterMeanwhile we( US military) are destroying more than $7 billion worth of equipment — about 20 percent of what the U.S. military has in Afghanistan — because it is no longer needed or would be too costly to ship back home. http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2013-...ainment-commandOn top of that we see fit to buy the Afghans a bunch of Russian and Swiss aircraft. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/06/28/report-afghans-not-ready-to-receive-800m-in-aircraft.Why is it that people seem to be OK with the military flushing billions upon billions down the toilet when so many things that help AMERICANS are being cut. I wouldn't even ask WTF we got for all the lives and fortune we spent in Afghanistan. All I have to say is I think America has gone collectively insane.

In the future, the president shouldn't bitch about a bill he agreed to and signed. He should also refrain from asking for more in the military budget than the law specifies. Congress shouldn't bitch about paying the bills it's agreed to nor should it try and give more funds to the military than they have even asked for! Oh wait, we're saying the same thing. Fishy

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Boeing, General Dynamics, and Lockheed will gladly make more equipment once they junk all that outdated, dirty, and broken down sh!t they're going to leave over there. And it won't cost any more than a few (hundred) billion dollars.

And it won't cost any more than a few (hundred) billion dollars. They've probably already bought it and will shelve it while they go looking for the latest and greatest. Fishy

And it won't cost any more than a few (hundred) billion dollars. Not to worry. I think that amount can be recovered by drug testing welfare recipients.
