Mine is hands down 95' mariners. So many memories and they were a great bunch of guys.

The '77/'78 Seahawks were sure fun to watch...well, so were the '78/'79 and '79/80...loved those teams, even if they weren't big winners.

It's easy to say the '79 Sonics since they won it all, but the best Sonic team and most fun to watch was the '96 team that lost to the Bulls and Michael Jordan in the finals...the Sonics beat the Bulls two games in a row in the finals, the only time the Bulls lost two games in a row that entire season. That team would have won the Championship most any other year.

Hard not to love the '95 Mariners, that's for sure...what a run. I had just moved back to Seattle after relocating in SoCal for a couple of years after college and was gearing up to go to law school the next fall...went to quite a few games and watched every one on TV.

Pretty easy to love the last two years of Seahawk football, too.

For my favorite I'll have to take the current Hawks...I mean, they just won a Super Bowl! smile

Fish on...

Todd

'63-66 Dodgers. Fantastic pitching, good defense, and they figured ways to score.

1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. Single most dominate football team on any level and in any era and its not even close to a debate.

This year's Seahawks just jumped past the 91 Dawgs on my list.

Only about 12k saw it live wink. It was tape delayed but knowing the score made it even more incredible. Imagine the Ballevue Wolverines beating the Hawks.

'76-'77 Portland Trailblazers

The 1976–77 season was the seventh for the Portland Trail Blazers 7th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The revamped Blazers would end up getting off to a terrific start winning 22 of their first 29 games.[1] The Blazers won their last 5 games to post a record of 49–33.[1] The Blazers made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history and proceeded to stampede through the postseason. By the time the Blazers had made it to the 1977 NBA Finals, the city of Portland was truly in the grips of "Blazermania".[1] After losing the first two games of the championship series at Philadelphia, the Trail Blazers won four in a row to bring the trophy to Portland. The championship capped the team's first winning season.

1980 USA Hockey

living in Minnesota 15yo my family saw them come off the plane returning from Lake Placid wearing their cowboy hats and Oly outfit and proudly wearing the Gold medals...it was pretty huge.

watched many of the players on that team play in the High School hockey tourney on into the Minnesota Gophers NCAA Champs.

We also saw them (pre Olympics) get creamed by a Russian exhibition team--you could hear coach Brooks yelling at the players

and current Seahawks team

As has been said by many already.......95' mariners all the way.

Now we got the 13' hawks as well. Prior to that it was the 05' hawks.

basketball-has to be the cinderella runs for the Zags back when no one knew they existed.

My little league team when I was 12. We were 0-20 when I was 11 and the next season we were 20-0 going into the play offs. We were down 1-0 in a game where the winner would have advanced to the little league WS regionals in CA . We had two men on in the bottom of the 6th and the mo was going our way when they called the game because of rain. Our dumfuk coach barely argued the call and was heavy into sportsmanship and walked away saying great game boys. Fuk me mr. Nothing unsportsmanlike about fighting for what's right.

Pro sports this years Seahawks by far. The 95 mariners were fun The 96 sonics were great but you knew they would hit the wall against the bulls. The 78 and 79 sonics were fun but It was so long ago.

Last years U-8 Co-ed soccer team I coached "Lightning". They played their butts off and were really fun to coach. I don't think we lost either.
