Prayer might help. What are the conditions like? Dark water? Clear? Those will need to be checked. As for tips, I would say just enough weight to tap bottom. Or lures cast in above and worked down. If the water is fast and not small pockets, I might try plunking. I very rarely do that though. I have had luck just fishing a little heavier that normal in fast water.

Depending on what you are doing for a presentation--I fish alot of heavy flows with a bobber and eggs--WATCH-WATCH-WATCH,
the bobber seldoms moves very much!! I had a guy spank me that was setting the hook on every little hesitation! Even a slight pause was worthy! He said the fish don't get to look at it very long and alot of times just barely move it! Worth thinking about.
