I read it Hank and it is spot on. KAJ also pointed out that the NAACP was going to give Sterling an award and the Rev All Sharpton was going to present it to him. All because Sterling had made a donation or 2 to their cause. The problem with racism today is there are way too many people making a very good living screaming about it.

Wealth of the magnitude required to own an NBA team isn't a reward for political correctness and humanitarianism. Most often, it's the fruit borne of a relentless, ruthless pursuit of money that goes on for decades.

I'm not saying every NBA owner is a racist, but I'm pretty sure they've all got closets full of skeletons, some of which probably make racism look downright decent. The fact that his fellow owners are punishing this guy is laughable, and it's obvious (to me, anyway) that it's a P.R. move to protect the Association's "sterling" image.

Then again, maybe I'm still just bitter over the way they helped that prick Clayton Bennett move the Sonics to OKC. The way that whole thing went down made me think it would be a mistake for Seattle to get back in bed with those extortionist scumbags. I love the game of basketball, and the NBA playoffs are great theatre, but that organization is slimier than the deck on a salmon trawler fresh off a haul.

I really couldn't give a sh!t about basestball. I do give a sh!t about political correctness and all of the baggage that comes with it.

I think that it really sucks, that a man can't blow off some steam in front of his #1 whore,without being recorded (illegally) and then being fined a very large amount of money, and having the value of his stock in trade vastly reduced while the only person who broke the law in this matter is rewarded.
