they do catch sturgoen in the snohomish all the way upto hwy2. the better fishing(according to local guides) is ebey and steamboat sloughs. you can access ebey near the mill in marysville(under i-5) and steamboat from the snohomish just upstream od i-5. sturgoen have been caught in ebey all the way up to hwy2. if you have a sled the better fishing is hat slough(stillaguamish). i used to clean that access area and talked to a lot of folks with fish. it aint the columbia but its fishin! good luck and fish on!

This might be a fishery where it's best to go with a guide once, just to pick up the type of structure and presentation necessary to be successful. A number of local guides will fish you on the Stilly or Snohomish including Rod Bush, Wade Ericson, Doug Palmer just to name a few. e-mail me (gbeezer@aol.com) if you need phone numbers.

Contact Jim "The Hairball" Harrington at 360-403-9215. He lives for those Stilly Sturgies.
His favorite fishery and he's a great guide.

Have not done it myself, but I know someone who fishes it alot(cant give out names sorry). He said around the I-5 bridge's, on Ebey or Steamboat. I think Ebey is best, but experiment a little. For the best info call or stop by Johns Sporting goods on North Broadway in Everett. John knows the area well, and can help you. Phone # is in the book.
