i'm sure everyone has seen the video of it by now.

she's being called mutha of the year. she has caught flack for being to physical too.

personally I applaud her slap down. more dingbat teens need this treatment these days. I had a mom who had no issues with swinging anything from belts, electrical cords or tennis rackets on me or my brothers... LOL now. but back then she would been in big trouble. one thing is for sure, non of us have never been arrested for anything. so I guess the beatings somehow worked.

She has 6 kids with multiple baby daddies. She is a baby factory that is being financed by you and I, but not Evo - while the multiple men in her life cannot take care of their own biz. While I applaud her efforts to reduce my fair share of penal code taxes, lets go ahead and pump the breaks on nominating her for any sort of "Mother of the Year" award shall we? The real "Mothers of the Year" and their kids don't end up on TV during a riot. Their kids are too busy studying and prepping for their futures. White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Purple Polka Dotted, IDGAF....good moms come in all colors. Morality & a good momma predate race.

I don't know about mother of the year if she has 6 kids by 6 fathers that aren't being supported by those fathers. But kudos to her for being there and doing the right thing in that moment; the kid is better off for it, that's for sure.

Not a bad thing to say about that mom from here. Looks like she's making an effort so her kids don't end up like their deadbeat fathers (most of whom were probably in the middle of the riot looting or off impregnating another desperate woman at the time).

I was raised in NE Yakima in early 70's. a area that had a lot of blacks. i'll tell you this, black moms can dish out a beating!!! I was good friends with one black kid who received several slap downs that was impressive and scary just the same.

Lets be serious here....violence breeds violence....sure it was fun to watch, but that Kid has probably been beaten since he was in diapers that's why he was participating in the looting.

trust me beating a kid or slapping one down does not mean the kid receiving the treatment repeats.

the black kid I grew up with and his 2 brothers have done very well. the 2 older brothers are both fireman. Donny has worked for fed ex since 89 and has raised 4 beautiful children who seem to have never received a quality slapdown or a spirited beating...:)

Where there's smoke there's usually fire.

You all realize that the Baltimore PD has been hit with TWO judgments, one for $7.5 million and one for $39 million in recent years after "rough rides" left suspects paralyzed don't you?

If it turns out that these cops gave this guy a rough ride after the people of Baltimore had already been put on the hook for more than $46 million dollars in civil judgments because of similar conduct, then they deserve to go to prison for mere stupidity if nothing else.

The days of body cams for all are right around the corner and it won't be long until weapons are relegated to lock boxes in the cruisers.
