My point was I will never buy a top of the line expensive truck again, that I did that and it wasn't worth it IMO. Yes, it was really nice but still I would put that extra money is something that isn't just an automobile.

You can get a reliable boat tower for substantially less than a Toyota and a Ford 150 will be a lot less to maintain during its life span.

For some odd reason this thread reminds me that a friend and former co-worker is selling his 1996 F-250 turbo diesel. And his boats and vehicles are always kept in primo condition. But I have no idea what I would do with the F-250 except look cool driving it.

So I've had the pleasure of riding bitch in Stam's bitchmobil a few times over the past few years.............The thing run's smooth and tow's the raft or drifter with a breeze...don't even know it's behind ya..............The coolest thing about it is ya can spill your beer/drop chips and dip between the seats and won't even get bitch slapped for it..................it actually helps cover up the dog hair...................LMFAO. No BS that truck is solid..........My "07" chev 2500 has 222,071 miles on it, up and down 10 miles of pot holes gravel road each day..................The onlt thing that has been replaced on it was a water pump @ about 200,000 miles and it happened in my driveway on a Friday night after work...............didn't leave me hangin......CHEVY......like a rock. I don't consider a half ton a truck it's about as usef to me as an el camino. I trash a 3/4 ton but hate the suspension on the one ton. I only use it to work the farm or head to the hills so it's rough because I use it . No use for mag wheels and fancy chrome doodads
