I've always thought that he should never be shrined in the HOF. It came out today that not only did he bet as a manager he also bet while he was a player which to me is even more shady. I don't know for sure. If he bet on games, and it can be shown that he actually affected the outcome in order to win bets, then keep him out. If he didn't change his play to affect the outcome, then the suspension/ban to this point has probably been enough. Same with Shoeless Joe. But, that fact that the druggies actually tried to change how they played the game should keep them out.

When I visited the HOF I was surprised at how well represented he was. All sorts of bats and gloves and other memorabilia for all of his milestones were in the museum section. The only thing that was missing was his bust in the Hall section. Since he's acted like a total asshat ever since he was banished I think that's enough.

I agree, if he would have come out when the SHTF and apologized this probably wouldn't have snow balled and with most people having short memories and wanting to forgive he probably would be in some day. He was and is his worst enemy. He is banned for life, does this mean he can't even go to any MLB stadium or anything associated with MLB? I'm pretty sure that's the case....does anyone know for sure?

just means he can't be employed or associated with any MLB or minor league team. Along with being barred from being inducted in the HOF. He can go to a game anytime.

Exactly baseball used to be a mans game to play and watch . Now like most sports its run by a bunch of squat to pee's . A guy named Fay investigated Rose for Christ sake.
The should let him in the hall of fame and allow whisky shots and cigars in the dug outs during games.
