Sorry fruitcake, most of the lefties on this site have shelved their manhood. There was a time when caring about the little guys had some weight. Now, even though there are plenty of families willing to adopt, the left feels we need to terminate every unplanned pregnancy.

What if the father wants to keep his child? Agrees to raise the baby himself instead of kill it? What about his rights as a father? What if the father wants the baby aborted? If such a thing existed there would be no need for abortion. You're correct in that murdering a child because one lacks self control is worse than animalistic behavior.

They learned all this wisdom about the way society actually works with regard to abortions and welfare a long time ago and that wisdom is forgetten with all this rhetoric from the idealistic in this country.

Back when abortions were illegal and welfare did not exist, women died from shotty abortions, children were abandoned, or were left to be raised as crooks and hooks because that was often the only life they knew.

Abortions being legal is not ideal and neither is welfare but my grandma told me what it used to be like and it was not pretty. There are a lot of societal consequences caused by illegal abortions and no social safety net for bastard and unwanted children. Dealing with those societal consequences can be just as unethical as abortions and much more costly.

Why is a newborn baby to a drug addict precious above all else but that same child ten years down the road stealing car stereos is a POS that should rot in prison and cost us massive amounts of dollars?
