Hey, before you complain about the Mercer mess, please acknowledge that the average travel time through it is now three (3) seconds faster! Likely the most expensive 3 seconds in traffic projects nationwide. You go, Seattle!

Of course that will likely pale in comparison to the $54 billion cost of Sound Three, on top of the existing Sound Transit costs, to transport 1/3 of 1% of Metro area commuters! Pay more; get less should be the Seattle area mantra.

I'm rolling on the floor laughing at this idea........

Sort of makes me wonder if the author of the idea was related to the young girl in the birthing class I was in 4 years ago. The teacher had asked the room a question in regards to what the mother would provide the new-born baby if she couldn't produce milk. The class answered with cow's milk, goat's milk and the young girl suggested using Chicken's milk.. I laughed so hard I had to leave the room after I asked the question, "how do you milk a chicken"?

Where's the common sense in this world anymore?

I am trapped in Seattle until my son graduates from high school in...oh...6 years.

In the meantime, I look forward to 6 more years of higher prices on food, gas, basic services, increasing traffic, higher property taxes, rising minimum wage, more homeless, and at least another 4 more years of democratic, liberal, fuktardism.

We have the worst governor in the nation. Seattle has the worst Mayor of any major city. The residents of King Country are past the level of retardation and would vote to shove their head up their asses if proposed by anyone LGBT, anti-gun, or loves animals.

I plan on moving out of Seattle the second my son graduates. Sad, seeing how this was the city I was born in, and effectively lived in most of my life. Truly sad to see how much of a shitshow this city has become and will become.

Seattle added over 90,000 jobs this year - and most of those to Amazon and other high-tech industries where kids out of college are starting with a 6-figure income. About the same number of jobs will be added in 2017 - to an area where there currently is no affordable rent.

We are now a "sanctuary" state for the nations homeless as well as anyone else coming to America. Seattle will bend over backwards to change just for you. The 206ers will continue to vote and pass for all the most lib-tard state initiatives that screws us all over. Year and year.

The upside is that the Seattle housing market will be stupid insane in 6 years. I will happily take the million dollars profit on the house I am in and move elsewhere. So, I'll just hunker down and bide my time and just watch the stupid chit that Seattle continues to do.

Paker, I agree with everything you wrote. I got a deal with Boeing that I could work from home. Like you I was born here and have seen the changes you are writing about. That 6 years will get here quickly. You will feel a huge weight off your shoulders and wallet. I have never been happier out here on the coast. I hope everything works out for you sooner than later. thumbs

P.S It's really nice to walk out of your house and fire off some rounds. I have a little make shift 75 yard range. smile

The only way Seattle and the rest of this state to get fixed is for Trump to do what he says and stop all funding for any state, county, or city that which follows an anti constitutional philosophy is a sanctuary city, or continues to institute failed socialist agenda.

If he cuts their federal funding they will implode within a year because they have nowhere near the money to pay for that stuff with self generated revenue. Within 4 years all these progressive leaders will be voted out of office, constitutional based policy will be instituted, some of the money will come back and things will improve.

I think your gonna see the liberal progressive parts of this country go through some real hard times in the near future. punishment for self induced stupidity...

Parker if you plan to survive outside the Seattle security blanket you will need to gain the respect of your peers who are already brave enough to exist outside the 206 area code.
The best way to gain said respect would be to post pictures of the hot chicks you have been banging since your divorce.
Without pictures these women simply exist in the same capacity as Bigfoot.
