I have a little story that I need to share (admit to). I was out and about the other day doing some errands and I noticed I was getting low on gas. So I pulled into the nearest gas station to fill up. While filling up, I spilled a little gas on my shirt sleeve. No big deal, its an old shirt and I was on my way home anyway. I finished filling up and hopped back into the car.

As I was driving away and rockin' some J Geils Band, I thought it would be an opportune moment for a smoke. I reached for my pack of smokes, rolled down the window and lit up. Immediately upon touching off my lighter, my shirt sleeve burst into flames. OH CHIT! Here I am going down the road at 45 mph and on fire. I frantically try to wave my arm out of the window in the hopes that the wind would put it out. No dice and this is bad. Very bad.

Now I am swerving around, in and out of my lane, freaking out. At that moment, things go from bad to worse. I see that Johnny Law pulls up behind me and turns on his lights. Crap. Now I'm going to get a big ol' ticket. Frantically waving my burning arm out the window, I try to pull over as quick as possible, hoping that Johnny Law would see this and understand what was happening. Oh boy, did he ever! Johnny jumps out of his rig, pulls his weapon out and comes charging at my car. I'm like wtf? He yells at me to get out of the car and get both hands were he can see them. I yell back to him that "DUDE! I'm on fire over here!". He doesn't care one bit and orders me on the ground. He runs up and jumps on my back, smothers the fire and cuffs me. Not understanding why I was being arrested, I asked what the "Hell is going on!?!".

Johnny proceeds to act the tough guy and yells at me..."BECAUSE YOU WERE WAVING A FIREARM IN PUBLIC!"

I got nothin'.

Hopefully that will make you quit smoking.

Obama wasn't the best salesman...the NRA adding more fear to the already non-stop fear factory that is the right, on behalf of their corporate masters, is who the best salesman was, and always will be.

Money can always be followed in just about everything.

In CT they had to return all mags with 10 or more, no Grandfather clause. Get this, the day the law was in effect there were about 200 sheep standing in line to comply.

A lot of these gun laws are impossible to enforce because of the magnitude to be able to enforce. Safety in numbers.

I refuse to sell a gun to a private person going through a FFL. I still stick to my policy of making sure the buyer has a CCP and a valid Washington state drivers license.

Even the Police guild knows this law is impossible to enforce. Do you think for a second a bad guy is going to follow these restrictions?
