Hello fellow anglers, I know this doesn't have anything to do with fishing but I'm headed over to Ocean Shores this weekend and would like to shoot my black powder rifle a little before the elk hunt coming up. The ranges close before I can get to them during the week so I am looking for somewhere in the woods or a range over there I can punch paper for a while. Any replys will be appreciated, thank you!!

Browns point has a public access area where they plant phesants and ive hunted ducks there might be a place there. its close to ocean shores.

I lived there for three years or so. If your looking to shoot but not hunt it will be hard to find a place. Alot has changed out there since I lived there. We use to shoot just outside ocean shores. But then they put up the new school. That was in 89???? Try the wooded area along the humptullip ??? river. I remember a road just off the high way that goes way back in the woods, that paralles the hump. Thats a good place if they didn't clear it all for homes or something. J.C.B

Its a dirt road on the right side,going west to ocean shores. The highway is 109. Look at a map. The road is around grass creek. Thats all I can tell ya...sorry. J.C.B
