Hey guys, I did pretty good on the dogs last weekend with the gear rods, and I'm dying to get back out there this weekend and try them on my flyrod. What might be some productive patterns/colors?

Rabbit strip flies.Tie in some Flashabou and rabbit for a nice long tail,palmer rabbit forward,tie in some more flash and,Wa-Lah.Quick and durable Chum killer.I prefer the hot pink rabbit with purple flash,purple rabbit with silver flash and chartruese rabbit with pink flash.You can't tie these bugs to big.I dig the heavy wire 3/0 hook.

Note: No rabbits were harmed in the making
of these flies.All fur came strictly
from road kill only.I had to swerve
all the way into the oncoming shoulder
to get the little rascals.

Right on, Rat! I got some good suggestions off the other BB, also, so I'll get busy and tie some up tonight. Hopefully, I'll manage to get my clock cleaned! These brutes sure are fun to catch.
