FIFY - I've worked for the state for 30 years now and do NOT have a pension and have never been part of any union. I have contributed to a 401K since I was 21 that will be worth well over a million (fingers crossed!) when I decide to "retire" post 65 years old.....presuming the market doesn't crash. In that case, I will have Jack and Sheeit and Jack left town with my money!

This may be your only "Boom" I agree with, SD. Good for you on retiring and going someplace warm! The older I get, the more I hate the cold.

You'll still have the internets when you retire, so I can't wait to see all the warm-water Florida fish photos you will regail us with.
