the hook on a twitching jig is the same as a spoon if rigged correctly, its hook point is up.... twitching jigs sink a hell of alot faster than a spoon that flutters...

if you can cast you can work a spoon in nasty sh!t... but nasty sh!t eats spoons......and jigs....
