I'm a dog lover, and the most concerned I've ever been in the outdoors, with or without a gun is around other people's pooch's! I've been seriously concerned on a couple of occasions when FIDO decides he wants my "rock, fish, or ME"! And during these occasions the owner had no physical control over FIDO. I'm not a fan of taking hunting dogs bank fishing either. I did it when I was young, and my lab would sit right next to me as she was trained to do that. Except for all the douchenozzles who'd try to coax her away to pet her! I'd turn around and swing my rod at them like a whippin' stick and let them know she's a working a dog, and to quit phukkin' with MY dog (never broke the tip, but that right there is good reason to pack a fist full or rods..to snap people in the ear to keep 'em away from you!)!
