Good news also is that one stream they monitor for summer chums had a record return this year. I believe monitoring ended on 10/15, but when I drove by prior to that their board next to the road showed 12,663 had been counted. I'm not sure what the final number was but that was about double the yearly average from what I've seen in the past.
