Wow, sorry for the non-fishing post. I personally have not had problems with most officers but now that my kids are getting older I have become more concerned with who they can approach in case a problem occurs. I considered this bb a place to discuss what was on your mind as well as give fishing tips. I meant no harm and regret posting what was bothering me at the time.

If you still haven't caught a fish here is what I did to catch my last one:
1) go to the bridge on highway 2 just before Index and park on the west side
2) hike down by the bridge but don't start casting until you are about half way down the stretch.
3) Use eggs with a small white and pink corkie and about 30 inch leader-10# Stren
4) Put enough weight to touch the bottom but don't let it drag.
5) Start by casting in close but gradually cast farther until you are convinced you have covered as much water as you can...this is important because a lot of fish will hold here trying to decide which fork they will ascend.
6) Before giving up on this stretch hed down further-just above the tail-out. The trick here is to cast into the slot which is only about 25 feet from shore. There are some snags so try to feel your set-up throughout your drift.
Again I'm sorry for the non-fishing post. If you are still pissed at me, my e-mail is in my profile.
