I eat some fresh ones (buffalo burger gravy over biscuits) , sauté some lightly in margarine not until fully cooked (kinda blanched) put in vacum bags in freezer till the liquid sets up then vacum seal, we also dehydrate some and store in jars for soup and stews the following year.
