LOL basser, i use the handymans tool, duct tape, to hold on those flakes. The water clarity was about 12-15ft. Another reason the fatties may have not been bitin. I had to stay pretty far off shore cuz most of them were pretty spooky. BUT i also sat at the edge of a long dock and flipped the tube out 5 feet from me and they still took it, nothing big though.
