in the USA, if you catch a domestic violence charge, you are prohibited from owning a firearm....

in the USA, if you have been investigated by the FBI for potential links to terrorism, and terrorist groups, you should NEVER be allowed to own a firearm....

Redhook, when you go to buy a pistol the wait time might be 14 days to do your background check for good reason. When I buy a pistol my wait time is about 15 minutes. Think about why there might be a difference.

Also, you should try to learn the difference between being investigated for anything and being convicted. Many innocent people have been investigated by the FBI for terrorist links and many other things, and no links were found. Are you saying that innocent citizens who have been investigated but don't have any links, or at least no discoverable links, to crime or terrorism should be deprived of their 2nd A rights? If so, what's the legal basis of your logic?

No doubt this shooter was a jackwagon, but even the FBI didn't find any evidence of a terrorism or criminal link or record of mental illness. If the FBI couldn't find it, no standard firearm purchase background check is going to find it either.

You should invest in learning to think logically. However, be warned that will increase your qualifications for getting a job.
