According to this ESPN article, they had visits with Ryan Clady, Matt McCants, and Aboushi today. They ended up signing Aboushi.

The Seahawks have drafted 14 offensive linemen since Pete and John started, tied for the most with 1 other team. They have not given out a second contract to any of the linemen they have drafted.

That's pretty damning. That doesn't bode well for Cable or the FO.

IMO most of these defensive signings are about trying to bring back the boom to the STs. JS talked about trying to bring back the toughness identity to the team and one area which has declined somewhat under the radar has been STs.

John and Pete have now said they are listening to offers for Sherman.

I 100% believe that Sherman started all this. Calling out the coaches during the game with a sideline blowup as well as cutting off the Seattle media entirely late last year. I'm ok with it to be honest. Sherman has not been the player we signed to a lucrative contract since that contract. His play has been sub-par the last 2 seasons. That's still better then 90% of the other corners in the league but no longer "the best" as Shermk likes to put it. The fire is gone and has been for awhile. ET getting injured last year exposed Sherman's weaknesses. And at age 29 its only downhill from here. Might as well deal him now while he has maximum value. Revis trade brought a 1st and a 4th. I believe I Sherman trade should be similar.

With the news about Marshawn visiting Oakland today I'd say give the Hawks your 1st and 3rd and you can have both of them.

Not much, at best a 4th rounder, more likely a 6th or 7th. The Hawks should try and get the 6 million he stole from the Hawks, from part of the signing bonus. The one two punch of Lacey and Rawls will make the Hawks forget about Meshawn.

I like that schedule for the most part. I think the Hawks can win any one of those games if they get their mind right going into the game. I only see 2 tall orders and that is Packers and Cowboys. The Titans may surprise us too, they could take a big step this year.

If Hawks can get a win against the Packers to start the season its gonna be a sign of good things to come. I kinda like having a huge gane early like that. We may get the early season Packers that can look average.

I'm jacked having Lacey and Rawls as a one two punch, they will be pushing each other for playing time. Another NFC West title at 12-4 or 13-3.

I feel we will sweep the NFC West this season..............maybe looking @ 12-4 or 11-5 depending on draft & trades. Good luck,
