I used to be able to sleep in when I was younger. Evidently I am unable to do that anymore. For the last several years I am up and at em at 6:30 or 7. Doesn't matter if I go to bed at 10 or 1. Here I am,up early,rivers are blown here,don't have time to drive the 7 hours north to fish where I want to,weather sucks,and I am reading the Dark Side. This is what it's come to. I now know what it must feel like to be Frank. I was gonna say Evo but I have worked all my life so that's out.

It chaps my hide, but it's a hell of a lot easier to get vertical than it used to be.

It's good because I don't really need an alarm clock to get up for work, but it sucks because I had a good chance to get some sleep this morning and couldn't pull it off.

I guess I'll start drinking. I think a bloody Mary would do me nicely right now.

Same here, only it's 5am for me every day, work, fish, or nuthin' like this morning...I am half a pot of coffee in, though, and watching SB pregame bullschit, so it could be worse.

Sleep issues are one of the reasons I decided to retire when I did. I usually go to bed around 10. I fall asleep within 2 - 5 minutes of laying down. The problem is how many times I wake up during the night, and whether I'm able to fall asleep again shortly thereafter. Sometimes I'll lay awake for 2, occasionally 3, hours, thinking I'm going to fall back asleep any minute now. And then I don't. When that happened 3 nights in a row, Thursday and Friday at work were difficult. Mastering the 10 minute power nap helped a lot, but now I just say "screw it" and head to my recliner chair for 45 - 60 minutes and get back some of that quality rest that I missed out on during the night. Unless I'm fishing, of course. Some of my fishing partners are flat out amazed at my gravel bar napping skilz.

i only have about 6 hours of time to sleep a night, so i dont get much sleep at all...

Sagearoo turns 16 next month. So I sleep until she wakes up. She gives me about a 1 minute grace period to get her outside.

If, perchance, she sleeps thru the night I'll get 7 to 8 hours of solid sleep. But this is rare enough that when it does happen the first thing I do is check her for a pulse.

Get up around 1.
Eat whatever chocolate or cereal is in the house.
Sleep until alarm goes off.

I get up and go to bed at all different times of the day/night..seem to have lost my internal clock about 10 years ago.

Retired, so nobody is expecting me to be anywhere. When I go to bed I usually sleep a minimum of 10 hrs, and sometimes as long as 15. Of course, at my age I'm up every 2-3 hrs. to drain the tank.

In other words, I get up and go to bed when I damn well feel like it.

im in bed by 10 every night....

and the alarm goes off at 4...

and as i said, i get up every hour, sometimes even half hour....

Have you tried swaddling and diapers? That helps most babies get better rest.

Why are you getting up so much? Sleep Apnea can have side effects that make people go pee every half hour to an hour. I have it,and I wasn't getting enough sleep. I sleep with a machine and it changed my life. I don't snore like I used to and I get up once,maybe twice,to pi$$,sometimes I don't get up at all. Probably why I can't sleep in.

Peevo, you need to get that checked out if you haven't. I can think of a dozen very serious health issues off the top of my head, plus it's just gotta kill your energy levels & quality of life. Don't be a hardhead or blow that crap off. Go see your doctor.
